ICD in the GDR
In the GDR, in addition to their own classification, the so-called GDR directory, GDR versions of the ICD-9 and ICD-8 were used. They were used, for example, to encode diseases in the social insurance card of the GDR.
WHO Family of Classifications
In addition to diagnosis-related classifications, the WHO Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC) also includes those concerning other health-related aspects.
