Search Tips

Search area / search index

• The search can be limited for certain areas of the DIMDI-Website.

Sorting

• Relevance
  In ascending or descending order according to the relevance determined.
• Title
  In alphabetical order; ascending or descending.
• Date
  In ascending or descending order according to the date of publication of the site.

Number of hits per page

• The number of hits which will be shown on a single result page can be specified.

Advanced search

You can use the so called Boolean operators within the search field:

• AND
  e.g. ICD AND 2007
  (all terms connected by the operator, in this case ICD and 2007, have to be contained in the search result)
• OR (preset)
  e.g. ICD ICF alternatively ICD OR ICF
  (A minimum of one term connected by the operator has to be contained in the search result, in this case the term ICD or the term ICF.)
• NOT
  e.g. ICD NOT GM alternatively ICD NOT GM NOT WHO (The first term has to be contained in the search result but not the term after the operator NOT: In this example sites containing the word ICD, but not GM. Alternatively sites containing ICD but not GM and not WHO will be found.)
