The German language version of MeSH is supplied on CD-ROM in XML file format and additionally in
CSV format as a database version.
The complete MeSH information stock in the XML file is very large and can only be usefully
processed using XML compatible software. In selecting a suitable program you are not obliged to use
this file format. For example, the data items must be dragged out using XSLT, when required for own
applications.
The databank version in CSV format is suitable for import to relational database systems. The
description of the data arrays and the requisite SQL instructions can be found in the supplied
readme file.

You can acquire the German MeSH as a one-time order or on subscription (annual updates) by returning the Nutzungsvertrag (PDF, 52 kB) to us. An English version of the User Contract (PDF, 54 kB) is available for your convenience. Since the obligatory contractual language is German, kindly fill in and return the German version in dublicate. Please do not forget to mark the extent of use in section 4 ; otherwise, it is not possible to process the contract.
