ICD-10 Thesaurus of Diagnostic Terms (ICD-10-Diagnosenthesaurus)

For everyday work with ICD-10 the ICD-10-Diagnosenthesaurus is an indispensable tool. It contains an alphabetical list of more than 75,000 entries coded with ICD-10, which produce more than 120,000 searchable entries in the printed version 2008.
Since 2005 the ICD-10-Thesaurus has been published as "Alphabetical Index" of the ICD-10 German Modification (ICD-10-GM Alphabetisches Verzeichnis).  The data files are available in the Downloadcenter, file folder ICD-10-GM,  annual version,  "Alphabet".

• "Alphabetical Index" of the ICD-10 German Modification Version 2005 and following versions: based on ICD-10-GM Version XXXX for ambulatory and stationary care
• ICD-10-Diagnosenthesaurus Version 2004 bsased on ICD-10-GM Version 2004 for ambulatory and stationary care
  
• ICD-10-Diagnosenthesaurus Version 4.0 based on ICD-10-SGB-V Version 2.0 for stationary care
• ICD-10-Diagnosenthesaurus Version 3.1 identical with Version 3.0 except for some errata and minor changes, also based on ICD-10-SGBV version 1.3 for ambulatory care
• ICD-10-Diagnosenthesaurus Version 3.0 based on ICD-10-SGBV Version 1.3 for ambulatory care

ICD-10-Diagnosenthesaurus was initiated by Zentralinstitut für die kassenärztliche Versorgung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (ZI) and developped by an expert committee headed by Prof. Dr. W. Giere (University of Frankfurt on Main). Copyright was transferred to DIMDI with version 3.0 which is now the publisher and responsible for maintenance and further development.
