DAHTA takes over the INAHTA Secretariat

The German Agency for Health Technology Assessment (DAHTA) takes over the Secretariat of the International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment (INAHTA) until the end of 2015. The international network with more than fifty members brings forward the information exchange between HTA institutions.

By the beginning of 2012, the Swedish Council of Technology Assessment in Healthcare (SBU) handed over the INAHTA Secretariat to DIMDI.

INAHTA unites HTA institutions promoted by public funds. The secretariat coordinates the activities of the network. Among others, it is responsible for the maintenance of the website and the organization of the annual meeting.

The network also runs its own database. It contains HTA reports, economic studies, results of surveys and abstracts of systematic reviews.
