Setting a password

To access the database search, premium users employ a personal access authorisation consisting of a user code and a password. The 8-character user code and a preliminary password are assigned by DIMDI upon contract conclusion. When you log in you must replace the preliminary password with a new individual one.

For security reasons your new password needs to meet the following criteria (existing passwords might have to be replaced):

• 8 to 16 characters long
• at least one number or special character must be within the password
• passwords are case sensitive
• no umlauts
• special characters allowed:  !   #   $   %   &    (    )    +    ?   @   [   ]   _   {   |   }    ~

If you forgot the password or access is denied after several unsuccessful attempts, you can ask for a new preliminary password by using the link "Forgot password?" at premium search access (customer number and user code are necessary). This preliminary password will be send to your e-mail adress and has to be replaced again.
