Database Search - Prices and Conditions

At DIMDI you can search databases without contractual obligation. If you decide to conclude a contract, you benefit from more favourable conditions as a premium customer. The online output of the document title is always free of charge. We do not charge time-dependent user fees. Costs are incurred if you open database documents or full texts as well as when sending them by e-mail.

Database documents of literature databases (e.g. MEDLINE) contain bibliographical information and key words as well as abstracts. Many documents provide links to fee-based or free electronic full texts. Alternatively, you can order full texts at a library.

Database documents of factual databases (e.g. ABDA-Fertigarzneimittel) contain a lot of facts about pharmaceuticals or toxicological substances.

Search without Contract

DIMDI SmartSearch is a menu-driven interface enabling you to search the database without a contract. Some of these databases offer free database documents besides the document titles. You can pay for fee-based database documents and full texts by credit card.

Premium Search

As a premium customer you have unrestricted access to all public databases. Furthermore you benefit from additional search functions and price advantages. You can use the DIMDI SmartSearch interface and the DIMDI ClassicSearch command language. Fee-based search queries are settled quarterly by invoice or direct debit.
