DIMDI - Online Literature Ordering

Original Literature

The documents in most of DIMDI’s literature databases contain only bibliographic data (name of author, title, list of references, etc.), data based on contents (key words) and quite frequently abstracts. Full texts are usually not included in these databases.

Means of acquiring original literature

You have the following ways to acquire original publications:

• Retrieval of electronic full texts via mouse click following the literature search
  If an electronic full text is available, it is indicated after opening the document and selecting the full text button. Just click on the electronic full text (available for a fee) to open and store either as an html or a pdf document. When accessing without a contract you must put it in the shopping cart before paying by credit card.
• Online literature ordering at a library following the literature search
  Full-texts can be ordered at a library following the literature search or apart from a database search by directly inputting the bibliographic data.

Affiliated Libraries

Numerous domestic and foreign libraries concluded a contract with DIMDI and they are on hand as a supplier when making an online literature order. Some of the German suppliers deliver at the favourable subito conditions.
