Subject:
Publications on consumer health information. Which of them refer
to E. Gartenfeld?
Free text search in IN73 with restriction on a certain
reference.
Profile table:
| Parameter | Counter | Number of Hits | Query |
|---|---|---|---|
| C= | 1 | 5297738 | IN73 |
| S= | 2 | 3717 | HEALTH INFORMATION# |

| 4 | 9 | 3 AND RF=GARTENFELD E? | |
| 5 | 9 | REFS WHERE 4 | |
| ... 10 REFS in 9 Hits |
The result of step 4 gives back all documents, which include at least one citation with the chosen author (FIND RA= gartenfeld e? can be substituted by FIND RA= gartenfeld e?). The F SHOW=ALL; S=4 resp. S=5 will display the document with the complete set of references. In order to display only the sought references (author/journal) you have to add step 5 (Selective SHOW). Another component can be added by using another "AND": FIND RF=gartenfeld e? AND RJ=libr j AND RY=1978.
After a search based on REFS WHERE-pattern the references are displayed using SHOW F=ALL.

| AB: | Conflict theoretical approaches in the sociology of education have emphasized the importance of cultural capital for the reproduction of class structures. In recent years several scholars - especially Gerhard Schulze - have stressed the point that the traditional theoretical perspective in regard to cultural capital is too narrow. In modern society multiple lifestyles and corresponding types of cultural capital have developed. We have used data from surveys of school students, firstly to analyze the intergenerational reproduction of different types of cultural capital and, secondly, to study the impact of these forms of cultural capital on school success. We come to the conclusion that high-brow culture continues to be strongly reproduced intergenerationally and that only this kind of cultural capital is relevant for school success. With regard to the reproduction of social structure other types of cultural capital seem to have less of an impact. |
