New fields in the PsycINFO database

In PsycINFO, you will now find even more details concerning psychological bibliography. A large number of new and supplemented fields inform you in further detail about the origin of the article, the progress of the publication process and corresponding copyrights.

New features include data fields with the ISSN standard serial number and with information about the copyright. Furthermore, the complete database document presents various deadlines that mirror the publication process of the article.

The Conference field has been supplemented. Here you can now discover, among other aspects, the conferences at which the article was likewise relevant. The fields concerning the document type have also been extended (now with dissertations) and concerning the supplement (now with information about availability on the Internet).

PsycINFO: more than 2.7 elements of documentary evidence concerning psychology

PsycINFO is an English-language literature database with bibliographical details, descriptors and abstracts from some 2,400 international journals in addition to books, dissertations and technical reports. In addition to psychology, PsycINFO also covers relevant areas of related sciences. The database of the American Psychological Association (APA) is updated weekly. It currently contains around 2.7 million documents.
