How can I rule out a bogus website linking me to an equally bogus register entry?

One hundred percent safety does not exist on the Internet – banks and webshops are also struggling with this problem. We offer the following possibilities of verifying the legitimacy of a mail order pharmacy:

  1. Click

Click on the logo: If the pharmacy is included in the register, a DIMDI website opens containing the pharmacy’s register entry.

  2. Check

Check whether the website address (URL) in the address bar after the https:// or http:// begins with "versandapotheken.dimdi.de/". Only in this case a DIMDI website is involved. Pay particular attention to the forward slash (/) after ".de".

  3. Open

Open the pharmacy’s website(s) through one of the links indicated in the register. Do not use your browser’s back button and do not return to a window that may still be open.
